Josiah and Jamie-Lee’s wedding is still one of my all time favorites. I mean, Seattle, WA? Life is pretty much complete when you are surrounded by beautiful trees and amazing sushi! Josiah was a few years under me in high school, and was always the one the girls would dream about (including my wife!). So I was so happy (and a little relieved) when I heard Jamie-Lee was taking him off the market. They got married in a beautiful little church in the city followed by a gorgeous reception out by the lake. I was SO worried about our “first look” pictures. I kind of got a little ambitious and decided to shoot them IN a boat, ON the lake, BEFORE the ceremony! Looking back I think I was probably a bit crazy! Anyways, the couple was magic. So in love, and it glowed through the photos. Enjoy!
Did I mention it was on the 4th of July???

Here’s the final set from CJ’s Off The Square. Loved this wedding. The colors were so vibrant and beautiful! CJ’s had just done some major renovations to the venue, and it really took the place up a notch, which is saying something considering how amazing it was before! The brand new bridal suite alone is totally gorgeous, but I really fell in love with the antique picture frames lining the halls downstairs. Oh, and I had an amazing couple as well. Congrats Rhett and Sarah!

CJ’s Off The Square
I’d like to take some time to highlight one of my favorite venues in Franklin. I’ve had the opportunity to shoot at CJ’s Off The Square three times now, and each wedding has been so incredible. That’s mainly because of the wonderful design team over at CJ’s, who never cease to amaze me in taking the same building each weekend and transforming it into a totally unique experience, custom to each client! I’m not quite sure how I got hooked up with Amy Parman (the senior event planner), but I’m so thankful I did!
Ok, so to explain WHAT CJ’s Off The Square is!! CJ’s, named after their charming owner, is a venue that is sort of like an all inclusive resort! You walk in, tell them what you want, and then sit back, relax, and let them do the rest! You have every option you could imagine, from color schemes to vintage furniture. And MAKE SURE you check out their new bridal suite (totally amazing).
SO, if you can’t tell, I love CJ’s. In fact, I’m so happy to say that I just booked my first CJ’s wedding of 2012 yesterday and I’m so happy to be going back! So in honor of one of my fave venues, I’m going to be posting some of my favorite images from the last 3 weddings I shot there, starting with Jon and Natalie Howard! Enjoy and please, check out CJ’s HERE. You won’t regret it!
